Eryn Cannon

Eryn Cannon is an MA student in the REES program. She holds a BA in Political Science and Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies, as well as an MA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies, both from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Eryn is a US Figure Skating Adult Gold Medalist in skating skills and an active ice dancer. In addition to working as a professional figure skating coach, she has also served as the Director of a year-round track-out camp in North Carolina. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of REES studies and women and gender studies, with a particular focus on the political impact of figure skating in the REE region.
